Your Daily Muslim: Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari

Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari

Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari came to the US from Saudi Arabia to attend college and study chemical engineering. Like boatloads of other Muslim immigrants before him, the real focus of his studies was how to construct IEDs. He definitely picked the wrong state to attempt to purchase weird chemicals and build explosives in, though.

While attending Texas Tech, Aldawsari wrote a blog discussing his plans for jihad. Neighbors became suspicious of him, and an investigation was launched. It didn’t take long for authorities to figure out the crazy Muslim was gonna try to act out his religion’s theme song (“Blow” by Ke$ha), and Aldawsari was arrested. Aldawsari’s list of targets included the following:

  • A nuclear plant. Though his handmade IEDs probably wouldn’t be able to cause significant damage to it unless Aldawsari got inside, the thought of a nuclear plant exploding is scary.
  • A nightclub, which Aldawsari viewed as a house of sin. As someone who used to work at a nightclub, they may not be the friendliest environment to uptight religious asswipes, but they are damn fun. Muslims should try going out sometimes without attempting to blow the venues up.
  • “The tyrant’s house,” or the house of former president George W. Bush.
  • The homes of soldiers formerly stationed at Abu Ghraib.
  • Aldawsari will now be spending the rest of his life behind bars. He’d better prepare himself for the jihad his raging cellmate Bubba will wage on his rectum.
