Abu Rumaysah

Imagine you’re a woman walking through London when a few angry Muslims approach you. They immediately try to surround you, yelling at you to wear the Islamic ninja costume, calling you an uncovered whore for not being ashamed of your face and hair. Imagine you’re a homosexual walking through London when a Muslim man approaches you and tells you that you are an evil person, and that you are not allowed in the area you’re going because it’s a “sharia-controlled zone.” Sheikh Abu Rumaysah is responsible for a great deal of those sentiments and Islamic intimidation attempts.

Rumaysah is a good friend of Anjem Choudary, the controversial preacher best known for commanding his followers to live off of welfare, the “jihad seeker’s allowance.” Together along with a few other wild Quranimals, Rumaysah and Choudary have managed to spread infidelophobic, sexist, and homophobic bile across London. If you see a sticker that says “Gay free zone. Verily Allah is severe in punishment,” it’s the work of Rumaysah or his BFFs.

This past year, Rumaysah waged jihad against Christmas, claiming the holiday was evil: “Christmas is a lie and as Muslims it is our duty to attack it. But our main attack is on the fruits of Christmas, things like alcohol abuse and promiscuity that increase during Christmas and all the other evils these lead to such as abortion, domestic violence and crime.” Wait, a Muslim criticizing domestic violence? Clearly he hasn’t read Qur’an 4:34. Or he’s just engaging in taqiyya, the Islamic principle of lying to save the face of the religion. “We hope that out campaign will make people realize that Islam is the only way to avoid this [sin] and convert.” Sorry, but drinking and promiscuity are fun, and I’m not gonna be a fan of any invisible supernatural entity that says I can’t have fun.

Rumaysah has spent countless hours studying the Qur’an and Hadith, more than likely jerking it to the child-porn passages involving Muhammad (pigs be upon him) and his child bride, Aisha. He is now working with Choudary to restore the membership of the banned Islam4UK sharia-patrol group under a new name.
