Everyone knows inner beauty’s an ugly person thing, but it at least makes a lot of people feel better about themselves. However, in the case of San Francisco Muslim Hani Khan, all she has is a giant victim complex, inner beauty be damned.
Khan was hired at a Hollister, an Abercrombie & Fitch-owned chain of overpriced clothing stores that built its image on having attractive employees. It is unknown why she was hired. Khan began working without wearing the Islamic headbag. Shortly thereafter, she began covering herself, though honestly not as much of herself as she should have. Khan was fired because, according to a representative from the chain, she was “deviating” from the look the store was going for with its employees, which could negatively impact sales.
However, considering that this is San Francisco, Khan knew some leftist Islam-appeaser judge would love to hear her case. She took the chain’s decision to court, and the judge ruled in her favor because the store couldn’t “prove” that she had hurt sales by wearing the headbag. Hmm, I wonder if people who go to a store that has an all-American west-coast image want to see little miss mujahidah working behind the counter? It should be common sense for employees to comply with a workplace dress code – but not in the liberal hellhole of San Francisco, where standards of professionalism are thrown out in the name of “acceptance.”
