All Muslims are called to perform jihad, a holy struggle for Allah. Jihad takes many forms depending on the Muslim, ranging from blowing up innocent people to working out (at least, according to CAIR) to persecuting Christians. Malay Muslim Ibrahim bin Ali prefers the latter of those three choices. The hamplanet (portly) Muslim claims Christians are “ungrateful” for Muslims’ tolerance and kindness toward their religious practices, which until recently included the use of the word “Allah” to refer to God in many texts. Ali claims Malays, particularly those of the Muslim persuasion, are being “trodden and spat on” by Christians, though Christianity is a minority religion in Malaysia.

After controversy erupted surrounding the use of the word “Allah” in Christian texts because the word has certain spiritual connotations to Muslims, Ali realized it was his moment. “We have been compromising, we have given them leeway,” Ali said. “They [Christians] wanted the Malay Bible, we allowed them to have it… they were still not satisfied.” The head of conservative Islamist group Perkasa, Ali told many of the group’s followers, “It is better that we urge the government and the prime minister to rescind its decision to allow Malay Bibles in Malaysia!” A recent ruling forbade a Malay newspaper from suing the word “Allah” in a non-Islamic context, and Ali is hoping to ride the momentum of that decision into more subjugation of non-Muslims.

“Christianity is not a new religion – it has been around for hundreds of years,” Ali said. Uhh, try approximately 2,000, bro. “But apparently even up to today, it has no name for its God.” Is “God” not enough of a name for the god of a monotheistic religion? Aside from poking fun at Christianity, Ali’s jihad generally involves mocking others without cause. For example, he called someone who defended the rights of Christians a “pig,” and made fun of a fellow politician for not standing while speaking. The thing is – that politician is disabled. Ali also called for the burning of any Bibles that used the word “Allah,” resulting in outrage but no charges being filed.

In 2011, Ali threatened to wage “jihad” against Christians because Malaysia’s Christian community wanted to remove Islam’s status as the official religion of Malaysia. He also threatened ethnic Chinese with violence if they showed up at a political rally. The comment drew immediate criticism due to its racist overtones, and Ali apologized, claiming he had been “misunderstood.” Just like that of Barack Hussein Obama, Ali’s political career has been kept afloat by falsehoods and an unwillingness by the establishment to give his sorry ass the boot.
