Your Daily Muslim: Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor

Pretty sure his lips rival Angelina Jolie’s in size, and we all know hers ain’t real

As I’m sure you’ve noticed, there weren’t any posts this weekend. This is because there won’t be weekend posts anymore because there weren’t as many views on the site on weekends, so there’s no real point in putting up content that people likely won’t read.

Islam always has to butt its head into places where it doesn’t belong (read: everywhere.) Right now, Islam is trying to mess with a Hard Rock Cafe in Putrajaya, Malaysia. The establishment is soon set to open its doors, which drew immediate consternation from Muslims like federal territories minister Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor. Instead of accepting the fact that Hard Rock Cafe is a decent establishment that would help the area economically, Mansor’s concern was over the kinds of music that would be performed in the cafe, which features both music videos and live bands.

“Hard Rock can open its doors, but it has to follow our conditions,” Mansor said. What were his conditions, exactly? Hard Rock Cafe would be prohibited from showing “offensive, obscene, and sexually exciting” videos or featuring such performances. The establishment would also have to abide by sharia guidelines, including a ban on the sale of alcohol. Music would be permitted, but Mansor suggested the establishment invite Islamic musicians to perform religious music. What he doesn’t realize is that people don’t go out to eat to hear songs about Muhammad molesting a 9-year-old.

Mansor is also an opponent of bloggers, since I’m sure plenty of others out there have mocked him before me. He is quoted as having said, “All bloggers are liars, they cheat people using all kinds of methods. From my understanding, out of 10,000 unemployed bloggers, 8,000 are women.” Well, for one, this blog isn’t full of lies. Sorry, Mansor. As for the number of female bloggers – yes, there are a ton of female bloggers, but what’s wrong with that? The Muslim thinks, because his religion teaches that a woman’s testimony is worth half that of a man’s, that female bloggers’ writings are false. To counter his attempt at making an argument, I’ll just refer him to Pamela Geller‘s blog, where truth is spoken fearlessly.

  1. That’s one seriously ugly dude. If I had a dog with a face like that, I would shave its arse and walk it backwards.

  2. I took one look at this guy’s big earlobes and I thought “earrings!” Big fake colored glass jeweled earrings! I don’t know why but he definitely needs to be dressed in drag! Maybe he already does that!
